Emily Ayers
Emily has been dancing since she was 3 years old. Her training began at
her local
school in Ascot, Hurst Lodge. She went on to pursue professional
training at
The Arts Educational School, Tring and further training at
The University of
Surrey Roehampton.
Since graduating Emily has worked
as a free lance dancer,
teacher and choreographer. As a performer she has
toured to Korea, Turkey
and Belgium, as well as appearing in 'The Merry
Widow' in the west end and
'The Snowman' at Sadlers Wells. Emily has
choreographed for many dance
performances and musical theatre shows
both in New York and London.
In July 2008 she won Best Choreographer
at The Dance Awards: The Big Dance
London. Emily's teaching first took
her abroad to teach intense courses to
celebrities' children in New York,
USA. Since then she has taught in the UK
extensively and enjoys teaching
all ages. Emily is an extremely experienced
teacher and joined Funky
Moves as the third very important member of the
team. Emily is delighted
to be part of the Funky Moves team and looks
forward to dancing with you!
